Took my son to Border’s to see some poets at the end of Black History Month. Hosted by Jazzpoet Mike B, the spoken word artists performed originals as well as selected works by Maya Angelou.
He noticed me shooting him and I was trying to get a good candid, but he went into pose mode to help me get a shot. That’s an Izze apple soda. We’ve never had it before, but it was pretty good.
We couldn’t stay the entire time, but hopefully London soaked up some knowledge. I obviously got my photo from the Daily Photo Project.
