After speaking with the kind people at my mp3 sharing site, they understand what Take Back The Beat is trying to do and won’t allow any further deletion of the snippet files that I create so that you can evaluate each song on it’s own merits. I consider that a small victory for music bloggers who are just trying to provide information to the listening public.
Today’s review would not be considered a hip hop song, but since the movie is quite popular, the song soon will be. Here’s an excerpt:
“Slumdog Millionaire” is everywhere thanks to great reviews and Oscar wins but it didn’t really populate the music charts until now. Or, at least, it has a chance to do so with this song by A.R. Rahman and Nicole Scherzinger. It’s officially listed as Pussycat Dolls, but if you are familiar with the PCD, the group is really Nicole and the Pretty Back Up Dancers.
