Take Back The Beat is updated with the second solo song by a member of Pretty Ricky. And he calls himself “Pleasure,” so it’s already a little strange. Check the excerpt:
The formula is alive and well and boring. Pleasure P works it on his new “Boyfriend #2″ and the results are mediocre. The production on the song is okay, based on the success of his mediocre and boring hit “Did You Wrong.” He sings it in that fake tenor that the record corporations are convinced is the only way for young men to sing young oriented R&B. The strain in his voice as he struggles to hit the high notes can’t be covered up.
