As a follow up to the stellar “Green Light,” the choice of Everybody Knows is interesting. Legend’s talent is obvious on everything he does but finding that audience that can appreciate him can be elusive. The art crowd respects him and his music, but if we let the record corporations tell it, no one wants art. They just want to get drunk and watch big booty girls make it clap.
