As you can tell by now, I try to update Take Back The Beat at least 5 days a week. There’s so much new music out there that it’s hard to keep up with. Seems like the record companies would realize that and slow down, but they just keep throwing it out there. This time around, it’s Marshall Mathers. Here’s an excerpt:
Slim Shady is back. Literally. When this song is introduced, you hear about assaults and murders and then Marshall, imitating a boxing announcer, introduces Slim Shady. Shady has always been the extreme version of Eminem and, by doing the business at the top of the song, he lets us know which aspect of his personality we’re getting.
